Vaccine Shedding
Research articles on vaccine shedding.
“Vaccine shedding” refers to the release of a vaccine-derived virus from a vaccinated individual, which in some cases can occur with certain live attenuated vaccines (weakened forms of a virus). This phenomenon has been studied primarily in relation to how the immune system responds to these vaccines and whether transmission to others is possible under specific conditions.
