What are Minerals and Why do they Matter?

"Minerals are the spark plugs of life."

Dr. Henry Schroeder

minerals are naturally occurring inorganic substances that are found in the earth's crust. they are essential for various bodily functions and are categorized into two groups: macro-minerals, which are required in larger amounts, and trace minerals, which are needed in smaller quantities.

minerals play a vital role in maintaining good health and are involved in numerous physiological processes within the body. they serve as the foundational components of bones and teeth, ensuring structural integrity, with calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium leading the charge. additionally, minerals act as essential cofactors for enzymes, facilitating biochemical reactions crucial for regulating body functions; for instance, iron aids oxygen transport in the blood, while potassium and sodium maintain fluid balance and nerve function. they also play a pivotal role in maintaining electrolyte balance, with minerals like sodium, potassium, and chloride regulating blood pressure, nerve transmission, and muscle contractions. on a cellular level, minerals are vital for processes such as DNA synthesis, energy production, and cell signaling. moreover, certain minerals, including zinc, selenium, and copper, bolster immune function, fortifying the body against infections and diseases. lastly, minerals like selenium and manganese serve as antioxidants, shielding cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

mineral imbalances are at an all time high and many human beings (animals too) are copper toxic. our soils are depleted in zinc, magnesium, selenium, and manganese while our foods are fortified with Vitamin D, calcium, iron, and copper. too much of those four elements lower calming minerals to our bodies... it's no wonder why so many americans are on some form of anti-depressant or anti-anxiety medication.

many people are wasting their time chasing after estrogen dominance, candida, parasites, anxiety, and infertility while neglecting that mineral imbalances cause those very symptoms

in order to discover true healing, we must stop chasing after symptoms and begin to look at the root cause... minerals.

order your htma test and balance your minerals
