How It Works
Once you receive your HTMA kits, please send hair samples to the lab within 10 days (if you recently colored your hair or having scheduling conflicts for this timeframe please send us an email to keep us updated so we can work with you!).
Two forms must be completed for all individuals before protocols and lab results can be released: Health History Form & Health Consent.
If hair has been recently colored please let us know. It is recommended to wait at least 6 weeks after coloring for the most accurate results.
Lab turnaround time is typically 2-4 weeks. Once results are received, your interpretation and protocols will be uploaded in your Practice Better portal with one week of us receiving them from the lab.
Important Policy
All sales are final. No refunds are offered once purchased. If you are not able to complete HTMA testing within the recommended time frame, you are welcome to use it at a later date we just ask that you please communicate with us to keep us updated!
A Note on Retesting
Protocols are intended to be followed for 4 months, a more accurate recommendation will be made in your client portal depending on what KP feels is needed based on your health history, symptoms, and lab results. Mineral patterns change overtime as your body adapts, heals, and begins utilizing minerals differently, your protocol will evolve as well.
When that time comes, you will have the option to:

Continue with an HTMA retest (retest packages are individual and $250)

Explore additional functional labs if symptoms are lingering, new symptoms have arisen, or we feel there are other avenues to explore

Continue working on foundations and current protocol without retesting right away (KP will discuss this with you via your check-in + retest form)
I recommend retesting a minimum of 2x per year because mineral patterns change and the protocol your body needs later may be different from the protocol you started with. Especially as mineral balancing acts as a gentle metal detox, it is not uncommon for the body to be releasing metals several months into your first protocol.
Additional Labs
If there are situations where additional labs may be helpful, the goal is to gather more context while continuing to support the body. Additional labs are ordered through Rupa Health. Once your lab results are available, you may book a Lab Review Session ($250, additional $149 for each extra lab interpretation and protocol). Please note: additional testing is not required for everyone. Many people experience significant shifts with Foundations & HTMA Testing and their symptoms are resolved there while others require deeper work. Testing is meant to provide guidance and insight, not fear, dependency, or endless "biohacking". The goal is to support the body in a practical, sustainable, and individualized way.
