Initial Consultation ~ What to Expect
What to Expect During Your Initial Consultation
Your first visit is where we begin uncovering the why behind your (or your child's) symptoms. It's a deep dive into health history, environment, nervous system, and patterns so we can begin addressing root causes, not just managing surface symptoms. This process allows us to create a personalized roadmap for healing that feels supportive, sustainable, and tailored to your unique needs.
Before Your Appointment
Prior to your consultation, KP will review your health history form, previous lab results, food diary, and any relevant history you've shared. This helps us make the most of our time together so that our session is focused, intentional, and clear. You'll receive instructions for submitting your forms and any existing test results ahead of time through your Practice Better client portal.
During Your Consultation, We'll Explore:
-
Your Health History
-
We'll walk through your full health timeline — from preconception and pregnancy (if applicable), or early childhood through present day
-
This helps us identify patterns, triggering events, and areas where the body may have adapted or compensated
-
Review prior diagnoses and treatment plans
-
Discuss developmental milestones
-
-
Environment & Lifestyle
-
Discussion of environmental exposures such as water quality, mold, EMFs, and air quality

-
Understanding these factors helps us choose the right form of nutrients and supports
-
-
Nervous System
-
Assess overall stress patterns and identify whether the body is functioning in "fight, flight, or freeze"
-
Using The Regulation Ladder™, we'll connect your current state to underlying mineral and emotional patterns
